Why Pre To 3?

The number of babies in Southwest Indiana who die before their first birthday is so high that we're in the same category as some developing countries.  In fact, between 2011 and 2015, 180 babies in Vanderburgh

County died before their first birthday.  The Pre To 3 Program is here to lower those statistics.

About

About the Program

The Pre To 3 program is a service of the Vanderburgh County Health Department designed to reduce infant mortality in our community by providing long-term, consistent, hands-on support for babies and families.

As part of the free program, community health workers will visit clients in their home once per week, from the time a woman finds out she is pregnant until her baby reaches 3 years of age.

It's Time for a Change

It's time to change our community from one of the highest infant mortality rates in the country to one that supports & promotes healthy pregnancies and babies.
